If you haven't heard of Lurapets, then here, take a look. It's yet another virtual pet website "game," except this one is 100% shit. Important links don't work, and you can't learn anything about the game unless you register an account. It's also a near copy of another pet site. Lurapets is run by Ken, a 30 year old asshole who likes to rip people off. How does he rip people off? Here's the process he uses:

1. Visit the pages of artists, and contact them if they have cool stuff (furry artists, that means you).

2. Suck lots of ass and dicks.
a. Tell artists to fill out applications. Reject applications because the art "isn't the same as the site's." Return to 1. Pester same artists later.
b. Tell artists to fill out applications. Accept applications. Proceed to 3.

3. Promise artists some amazing pay.

4. Make excuses for not paying artists, and keep pressuring them to crank out more work.

5. Deny everything that evil and impatient artists say.

6. Act like a cunt, but pretend to be extremely sorry as well.

This asshole obviously can't afford to pay everyone he's hired, even though he's got less than 10 programmers. Yet, he's still trying to recruit more people. The artists aren't completely blameless, either. Why would anyone sell their works for such crap pay to something that could end up making money? Yeah, it's $1.50 to $20 per work, depending on what you do. If Lurapets started making money, do you think you'd be getting any of it? Fuck no. And you're getting paid for works that get accepted. If you drew 50 items, but only 2 were accepted, you're getting $3. So no bonus for you! If you took 10 hours to draw 5 maps and only 1 got accepted, you're only getting $20. Enjoy your $2/hour wage. Makes you wonder what the programmers are getting paid.

If you're interested in seeing more crap, here's the Lurapets forum.
